Hiking with kids can be a challenge, especially when they aren’t as motivated as we are by nature’s beauty and the freedom of the wilderness. While hiking 5 miles might not seem like a big deal to us, it certainly posed both a mental and physical challenge for our son. That’s why we were SO PROUD of him for not giving up and reaching the high point of our hike (10,875’)!
